ضَمُومٌ Any valley along which one goes between two long hills of the kind termed أَكَمَة: or any valley flowing [with water] between two long hills of that kind: [the former explanation is app. the right; for] AHn says, when one goes along a valley between two long hills of the kind termed أَكَمَة, that places is termed الضَّمُوم.
