Full Definition

طِرْقٌ Fat, as a subst.: this is the primary signification. [See an ex. voce بِنٌّ.]
2 And Fatness. One says, هٰذَا البَعِيرُ مَا بِه طِرْقٌ i. e. This camel has not in him fatness, and fat. It is said to be mostly used in negative phrases.
3 And Strength: because it mostly arises from fat. One says, مَا بِهِ طِرْقٌ, meaning There is not in him strength. The pl. is أَطْرَاقٌ.
