طَلُوبٌ

Full Definition

طَلُوبٌ , of which the pl. is طُلُبٌ, and, as is said in the Msb, [but not in my copy of it,] طُلْبٌ; and طَلَّابٌ , of which the pl. is طَلَّابُونَ; and طَلِيبٌ , of which the pl. is طُلَبَآءُ; Seeking, desiring, or demanding; or seeking, desiring, or endeavouring, to find and to get or take; much, or often; all are intensive in signification.
2 And بِئْرٌ طَلُوبٌ [and] طَلِيبٌ A well of which the water is remote: pl. of the former أَبْآرٌ طُلُبٌ. See also طُلْبَةٌ.
