عَاصِرٌ

Full Definition

عَاصِرٌ act. part. n. of 1.
2 لَا أَفْعَلُهُ مَا دَامَ لِلزَّيْتِ عَاصِرٌ [I will not do it as long as there is an expresser of the oil of the olive]; i. e., ever.
3 عَوَاصِرُ [as though pl. of عَاصِرٌ or of عَاصِرَةٌ] Three stones with which grapes are pressed so as to force out the juice, being placed one upon another.
4 عَاصِرٌ and عَصُورٌ One who takes of the property of his child without the latter's permission.
5 فُلَانٌ عَاصِرٌ Such a one is tenacious, or avaricious.
