Full Definition

عَاطِنَةٌ , applied to a she-camel, or to camels, as also [the pls.] عَوَاطِنُ and عُطُونٌ, but not عُطَّانٌ thus applied, Lying down [at the water] after having satisfied her, or their, thirst.
2 And عُطَّانٌ and عُطُونٌ and عَطَنَةٌ and عَاطِنُونَ [all pls. of عَاطِنٌ] Men who have alighted, or descended and abode, in مَعَاطِن [pl. of مَعْطِنٌ].
