Full Definition

عَرَنَI , Present.T and ـِ Verbal.Noun عَرْنٌ, He put the wooden thing called عِرَان [q. v.] into the nose of the camel.
2 And عُرِنَ, like عُنِىَ, He had a complaint of his nose arising from the عِرَان [above mentioned].

def.2 عَرَنَ السَّهْمَ, [Present.T ـُ] Verbal.Noun عَرْنٌ, He bound, or wound, a sinew upon the socket of the head of the arrow.

def.3 And عَرَنَ, Present.T ـُ Verbal.Noun عُرُونٌ, is syn. with مَرَنَ, Verbal.Noun مُرُونٌ, i. e. He became accustomed, or habituated; as in the phrase عَرَنَ عَلَى الشَّىْءِ [he became accustomed, or habituated, to the thing].
