عِقْبَةُ القَمَرِ, q. v.
def.2 And عَقْبَةٌ and عِقْبَةٌ signify Variegated, or figured, cloth: or one of the sorts of variegated, or figured, cloths [that serve for the covering] of the [women's camel-vehicle called] هَوْدَج: as also عَقْمَةٌ: accord. to Yaakoob, the ب is a substitute for م.
