عَكَزَعَلَىI , and عَلَى عَصَاهُ, Present.T ـُ Verbal.Noun عَكْزٌ and عَكَزَانٌ, He learned, or stayed himself, upon his عُكَّازَة, and upon his staff; as also تعكّز : or this verb signifies he bent himself upon the عُكَّازَة.
2 عَكَزَ بِالشَّىْءِ, Verbal.Noun عَكْزٌ, He used the thing as a leader, or guide; he guided himself with the thing.
3 And He grasped the thing with his fingers.
4 عَكَزَ الرُّمْحَ He stuck the spear into the ground.
5 And عَكَزَهُ He struck him with the عُكَّازَة.
