عِنْدَأْوَةٌ

Full Definition

عِنْدَأْوَةٌ Difficulty, and perverseness, in a man: and roughness, or hardness, of behaviour: and opposition, and wrongdoing: and deceit, or guile: and pronounced by some without ء. One says, تَحْتَ طِرِّيقَتِكَ لَعِنْدَأْوَةٌ Beneath thy silence is deceit, or guile: or difficulty, and perverseness: or opposition, and wrongdoing. [See also طِرِّيقَةٌ.]
2 And العِنْدَأْوَةُ signifies أَدْهَى الدَّوَاهِى [app. meaning The greatest of calamities].
