غَزْلٌ , applied to cotton, and flax, &c., or wool, and the like, i. q. مَغْزُولٌ [i. e. Spun]: [or rather spun thread, or yarn of any kind; for] it is an Verbal.Noun used as a subst.: of the masc. gender: pl. غُزُولٌ.
2 And accord. to ISd, The web of the spider.
3 And غَزْلُ النَبَاتِ is applied in Egypt to The sort of food called إِطْرِيَة. (TA in art. طرو, q. v.)
