Full Definition

غَضْبَةٌ A single fit of غَضَب [or anger].

2 Also An [eminence of the kind termed] أَكَمَة.
3 And A بَخَصَة (K, TA, in the CK بَخْصَة), or protuberance [of flesh], above, or beneath, the eyes, in the form of a flatulent tumour, or in the upper eyelid, produced by nature: so in the M.
4 And A thing resembling a دَرَقَة, i. e. a shield, of the hide of the camel, one part of which is folded over another.
5 And A [garment of the kind called] جُبَّة made of the hides of camels, and worn for fighting.
6 Also The skin of a mountain-goat advanced in age. The skin of a fish. The skin of the head. And The skin of the part between the horns of a bull.
7 And A patch of the small-pox: so in the saying, أَصْبَحَ وَاحِدَةً مِنَ الجُدَرِىِّ جِلْدُهُ غَضْبَةً [His skin became one patch of the small-pox]: like غَضْنَةٌ. (S in art. غضن.)
