غفّلهُII , Verbal.Noun تَغْفِيلٌ, He made him to become unmindful, forgetful, neglectful, heedless, or inadvertent.

3 التَّغْفِيلُ signifies [also] The sufficing one's companion [in respect of an affair] when he who is the object thereof is unmindful, unoccupied [in mind, or actually,] by anything. [You say, غفّل صَاحِبَهُ meaning He sufficed his companion in respect of an affair when he was unmindful, &c.]
