فَأَنْكَدَهُIV He asked of him, and found him hard, or difficult, and mean, or niggardly: or found him to have only what was scanty, or little.
2 طَلَبَ مِنْهُ حَاجَةً فَأَنْكَدَ He sought, or desired, of him a thing that he wanted, and he was niggardly.
