فَحَسَI , Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun فَحْسٌ, He took a thing from his hand, with his tongue and his mouth; such as water &c.: or he licked up a thing with his tongue, from his hand.
2 And فَحَسَ السَّلْتَ, Present.T as above, and so the Verbal.Noun, He rubbed [the ears off] the سلت, a particular species of barley, so that the awn, or beard, [thereof] became removed and scattered.
