Full Definition

فَرُّوجٌ The young of the domestic hen; [the chicken, and chickens;] as also فُرُّوجٌ, like سُبُّوحٌ [q. v.], a dial. var., mentioned by Lh: n. un. with ة: pl. فَرَارِيجُ.
2 And hence, app., by a metaphorical application, it signifies also A [garment of the kind called] قَبَآءِ, having a slit in its hinder part: or the shirt of a child: [but] the Prophet is related to have prayed in a فرّوج of خَزّ or of silk; or he pulled off one that he had put on.
