فَرْيَةٌ Clamour; or a confusion, or mixture, of cries or shouts or noises. (M, K, TA. [الحَلْبَةُ in the CK is a mistake for الجَلَبَةُ.]) فِرْيَةٌ A lie, or falsehood; a subst. from اِفْتَرَى: and meaning [also] a defamation: pl. فِرًى.
