فَسْقِيَّةٌ , with fet-h, [often pronounced فِسْقِيَّة,] a post-classical word, [arabicized, from the Lat. “ piscina, ”] i. q. مُتَوَضَّأٌ [properly A place, here meaning a tank, or basin, in which the ablution termed وُضُوْء is performed: now commonly applied to a basin, or shallow pool, of water, in the court of a house, or in a room, generally having in the centre a fountain that throws up water:] pl. فَسَاقِيُّ.
