فطّرهُII : see 1, first sentence.

def.2 Also, (Verbal.Noun تَفْطِيرٌ, S,) He made him to break his fast; or to eat and drink; as also , and فَطَرَهُ : he gave him breakfast: he, or it, (namely, the action termed إِسْتِمْنَآءٌ, and a clyster, [&c.,] Msb,) broke, or vitiated, his fast. And you say also هٰذَا كَلَامٌ يُفْطِرُ الصَّوْمَ, [and, more commonly, يُفَطِّرُهُ,] This is speech which breaks, or vitiates, the fast.
