فِيقَةٌ
, originally فِوْقَةٌ, the و having become ى because of the kesreh before it, The milk that collects in the udder between two milkings: and سراج [or this is a mistake for اِبْن السَّرَّاج] has mentioned فَيْقَةٌ النَّاقَةِ, with fet-h: but ISd says, “ I know not how that is: ” pl.
فِيقٌ [or rather this is a coll. gen. n. and فَاقَةٌ is its n. un.,] and فِيقٌ and فيقَاتٌ and أَفْوَاقٌ, [a pl. of pauc.,] or this may be pl. of the pl. فِيَقٌ. and أَفَاوِيقَ, which is a pl. pl. [or pl. of أَفْوَاقٌ]. [See also عُرَاكَةٌ.]
