قَأَبَI , Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun قَأْبٌ, He ate the food.
2 And قَأَبَ المَآءَ He drank the water; as also قَئِبَهُ: or he drank all the water that was in the vessel.
3 And قَئِبَ مِنَ الشَّرَابِ, Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun قَأْبٌ and قَأَبٌ, the latter thus (مُحَرَّكَة), agreeably with analogy, (TA, [but in the CK قَآب,]) He became filled with the beverage; as also قَأَبَ مِنْهُ: or he drank the beverage: and, or simply قَئِبَ, like صَئِبَ, he drank much water.
