قَائِتٌ

Full Definition

قَائِتٌ [act. part. n. of قَاتَ; Feeding, &c.
2 And hence, Sufficing]. القَائِتُ مِنَ العَيْشِ means What is sufficient [of the means of subsistence]. And one says, هُوَ فِى قَائِتٍ مِنَ العَيْشِ He is in a state of sufficiency [in respect of the means of subsistence].
