قَثِيثَةٌ A collective body of men; and قَثَاثَةٌ signifies the same. One says, اِنْتَقَلَ القَوْمُ بِقَثِيثَتِهِمْ [and (in the O erroneously written قَثَاثِيهِمْ)] The people, or party, removed with their collective body.
