Full Definition

قَضِئَI , or قَضِئَتِ القِرْبَةُ, Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun قَضَأٌ, The water-skin became rotten, and fell in pieces, as is the case when it has been folded while damp. You say سِقَآءٌ قَضِئٌ and قِرْبَةٌ .
2 And قَضِئَ said of a garment, or of a rope, It became old and worn out, and dissundered, and rotten, when said of a garment, from being long moist and folded: or, said of a rope, it broke in pieces in consequence of its having been long buried in the earth.
3 And قَضِئَتِ العَيْنُ, Present.T and Verbal.Noun as above, The eye became red, and flaccid in its inner angle, and in an unsound, or a corrupt, state, ulcerated, or sore. You say عَيْنٌ . And عَيْنِهِ فِى meaning In his eye is unsoundness, or corruptness [&c.].
4 And قَضِئَ حَسَبُهُ, Verbal.Noun قَضَأٌ and قَضَأَةٌ or قَضَآءَةٌ, in the L the latter of these, and قُضُوْءٌ also, His حَسَب [or grounds of pretension to respect or honour] were unsound, and faulty.
