قَعُرَتِI , Present.T ـُ Verbal.Noun قَعَارَةٌ, The well was deep; had a deep bottom.

def.2 قَعَرَ البِئْرَ, Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun قَعْرٌ, He reached the bottom of the well; he descended the well until he reached the bottom of it: or the same verb; or , Verbal.Noun تَقْعِيرٌ; and ; he made the well deep.
2 قَعَرَ الإِنَآءَ, or تقعّرهُ , He drank what was in the vessel, or all that was in the vessel, until he came to the bottom of it. And in like manner, قَعَرَ الثَّرِيدَةَ He ate the ثريدة [or mess of crumbled bread moistened with broth] from the bottom of it.
3 قَعَرَ الشَّجَرَةَ, Verbal.Noun قَعْرٌ, He pulled out the tree from its root; uprooted it. And قَعَرَ النَّخْلَةَ, Present.T ـَ He cut down the palm-tree from its root. And قَعَرَهُ He threw him down prostrate.
