قوّضهُII , Verbal.Noun تَقْوِيضٌ, He demolished it; destroyed it; threw it down; namely a building; as also , Present.T يَقُوضُ, Verbal.Noun قَوْضٌ: or he took it to pieces, without demolishing or destroying or throwing down; namely a building, and a tent. or he pulled up, or out, its poles, or pieces of wood, and its tentropes: or he pulled it up, and removed it; namely a tent.
2 [Hence,] قوّض الصُّفُوفَ, and المَجَالِسَ, He separated, or dispersed, the ranks, and the assemblies.
3 [Hence also,] بَنَى فُلَانٌ ثُمَّ قَوَّضَ [lit. Such a one built, then demolished, or took to pieces]; i. e. did well, then did ill.
