(Verbal.Noun كَبٌّ, TA;) and كَبْكَبَهُ; He inverted it, or turned it upside-down.
2 كَبَّ الإِنَآءَ, aorكَبُبَ
Verbal.Noun كَبٌّ, [He inverted, or turned down, the vessel, so as to pour out its contents]: he turned the vessel over upon its head.
3 كَبَّ القَصْعَةَ He turned over the wooden bowl upon its face.
4 كَبَّهُ, or كبّه لِوَجْهِهِ, [or عَلَى وَجْهِهِ ,] and and كَبْكَبَهُ , He prostrated him; threw him down upon his face. [One says,] كَبَّ اللّٰهُ عَدُوَّ المُسْلِمِينَ [May God overthrow, or prostrate, the enemy of the Muslims!]: but one should not say . See also 4.
5 He cut, or wounded, a camel in the legs.
