كَبَرٌ [The caper, or capparis of Linnæus;] a certain plant having thorns; an arabicized word, from the Persian [كَبَرْ]; called in Arabic لَصَفٌ, or أَصَفٌ: the vulgar say كُبَّارٌ . A beverage is described as made of كَبَر and barley: كثر is a mistranscription.
