كَدَشَI , Present.T ـِ Verbal.Noun كَدْشٌ, He sought, sought after, or sought to gain, sustenance; or he gained, acquired, or earned; syn. كَدَحَ, and كَسَبَ; and collected; and exercised art, cunning, or skill; for his family, or household.
2 You say also, كَدَشْتُ مِنْ فُلَانٍ شَيْئًا, or عَطَآءً, I obtained from such a one a thing, or a gift; as also , or . And مَا كَدَشَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا He did not obtain, and did not take, of him anything.
