كسّرهُII , Verbal.Noun تَكْسِيرٌ, is with teshdeed to denote muchness [of the action] or multiplicity [of the objects] [He broke it much, in pieces, or into many pieces: or many times, or repeatedly; or he broke it, meaning a number or collection of things.]
2 فُلَانٌ يُكَسِّرُ عَلَيْكَ الفُوقَ, or الأَرْعَاظَ: see 1.
3 [كسّرهُ also signifies He divided it into fractions.]
4 كسّرهُ الكَرَى [Drowsiness made him languid]. (A, TA in art. هيض.]
5 [كسّر شَعَرَهُ, Verbal.Noun تَكْسِيرٌ, He crimped his hair, see رَطَّلَ.]

def.2 كسّر المَآءُ الوَادِى The water made [the كُسُور, i. e.,] the turnings, bendings, or windings, (مَعَاطِف,) of the valley, and the parts thereof eaten away by torrents, to flow with water.
