كَمِدَI , Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun كَمَدٌ, It became changed in colour, and lost its clearness, the traces thereof remaining.
2 كَمِدَ لَوْنُهُ His, or its, colour became changed.
3 كَمِدَ الثَّوْبُ The garment became worn-out, and smooth, so that its colour changed.
4 كَمَدَ, (Present.T ـُ K, Verbal.Noun كَمْدٌ and كُمُودٌ, TA,) He beat a garment, or piece of cloth.
