def.2 كَاسَ, Present.T يَكُوسُ, Verbal.Noun كَوْسٌ, He became turned upside down, head downwards; as also تكوّس .
2 He fell upon his head.
def.3 كَاسَ فُلَانًا, Present.T يَكُوسُهُ, Verbal.Noun كَوْسٌ, He prostrated such a one; as also , Verbal.Noun إِكَاسَةٌ; which latter verb is the more chaste: or he threw him down upon his head; as also كوّسهُ : or this last, which is said of God, Verbal.Noun تَكْوِيسٌ, signifies He turned him upside down, or head downwards, or upon his head, فِى النَّارِ in the fire [of Hell]: and you say also, عَلَى رَأْسِهِ, meaning, I turned him over upon his head.
