لَاقَاهُIII
[He met him face to face; had an interview with him;] i. q.
قَابَلَهُ. See 1.
2 لَاقَى He experienced pain &c. See an ex. voce دَبِرٌ; and voce آلٌ: like لَقِىَ, voce آلٌ.
3 لَاقَى بَيْنَ طَرَفَى إِزَارِهِ وَشَدَّهُ [He made the two ends of his ازار to meet, and tied it]. (A, art. حجز.)
