Full Definition

لَبَجَI He beat, struck, or smote, another with a staff, or stick: or he beat, struck, or smote, continuously, but softly.
2 لَبَجَ بِهِ الأَرْضَ, Present.T ـُ He threw him down upon the ground: like لَبَطَ.
3 لَبَجَ بِنَفْسِهِ He fell down upon the ground.
4 لَبَجَ بِنَفْسِهِ الأَرْضَ فَنَامَ He threw himself down upon the ground and slept.
5 لُبِجَ بِهِ, (like عُنِىَ, [pass. in form but neuter in signification,] K, Verbal.Noun, لَبْجٌ, TA,) He became prostrated, or fell down in a fit of epilepsy, syn. صُرِعَ; fell down from a standing posture: as also لُبِطَ بِهِ.
6 لُبِجَ He fell down upon the ground by reason of disease or fatigue.
