لَذَّI , second per. لَذِذْتَ, Present.T يَلَذُّ, Verbal.Noun لَذَاذَةٌ and لَذَاذٌ and لَذَّةٌ; and , Verbal.Noun إِلْتِذاذٌ; It was, or became لَذِيذ [i. e. pleasant, delightful, delicious, luscious, sweet, or savoury; see لَذَّةٌ, below; and see طَابَ]; an object of desire, or a thing desired.
2 لَذَّهُ, first pers. لَذِذْتُ, Present.T يَلَذُّ, Verbal.Noun لَذٌّ and لَذَّةٌ and لَذَاذٌ and لَذَاذَةٌ, He found it لَذِيذ [i. e. pleasant, delightful, delicious, luscious, sweet, or savoury; he delighted in it; he took pleasure, or delight, in it]; as also لَذَّ بِهِ, and , and بِهِ, and : or he counted, accounted, reckoned, or esteemed, it pleasant, &c.; as also لَذَّ به, and , and التدّ به, and : لَذِذْتُ الشَّىْءَ and لَذِذْتُ به and إِسْتَلْذَذْتُهُ are syn.; and so are به and تَلَذَّذْتُ به.
