لُقْمَةٌ A morsel, gobbet, or mouthful: what is [swallowed, or] eaten quickly, at once, of bread [&c.]; like as جُرْعَةٌ signifies what is swallowed at once in drinking: or what is prepared to be [swallowed, or] eaten quickly [at once].
