مِئْجَنَةٌ [in Golius's Lex. مِئْجَنٌ] The instrument for beating used by the قَصَّار [or whitener of cloth, in washing]: but better without ء, [written مِيجَنةٌ,] because the pl. is مَوَاجِنُ; or, accord. to IB, the pl. is مَآجِنُ.
