مَاكِدٌ

Full Definition

مَاكِدٌ Water lasting, or continuing, unceasingly.
2 نَاقَةٌ مَاكِدَةٌ A she-camel abounding with milk; as also مَكْدَآءُ : or constantly, or always, abounding with milk; as also مَكْدَآءُ and مَكُودٌ : like نَكْدَآءُ: pl. of مَكُودٌ, مُكْدٌ, or مُكُدٌ, and مَكَائِدُ.
3 بِئْرٌ مَاكِدَةٌ, and مَكُودٌ A well having a constant, or unceasing, supply of water: and رَكِيَّةٌ مَاكِدَةٌ a well whereof the water remains without diminution [to which is added عَلَى قَرْنِ واحِدٍ لَا يَتَغَيَّرُ وَالقَرْنُ قَرْنُ القَامَةِ, app. meaning, of the measure of one قَرْن, not changing; by قرن being meant the structure of stone which supports the wood whereto the pulley is suspended, and which is described as being of the proportion of a man].
4 وُدٌّ مَاكِدٌ Unceasing love or affection.
