Full Definition

مُتَتَابِعٌ Consecutive, successive, or uninterrupted, in its progressions, or gradations, or the like. You say لُؤْلُؤٌ مُتَتَابِعٌ Pearls following one another, or doing so in uninterrupted order. And صِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ The fasting of two consecutive months.
2 غُصْنٌ مُتَتَابِعٌ An even, or a uniform, branch, in which are no knots. And فَرَسٌ مُتَتَابِعُ الخَلْقِ A horse symmetrical in make, justly proportioned in his limbs or parts. And رَجُلٌ مُتَتَابِعُ العِلْمِ A man whose knowledge is uniform, consistent, without incongruity.
