] It distilled, or let flow, the only matter that was in it: [like نَثَّ].
2 مَثَّ, (S, K, Present.Tمَثَثَ
Verbal.Noun مَثٌّ, TA,) and
مَثْمَثَ , or, as in some copies of the K, , It (a نِحْى, or butterskin,) exuded [its butter: as also نَثَّ]. You do not say of it نَضَحَ.
3 يَمِثُّ مَثَّ الحَمِيتِ He sweats like the butter-skin.

] He removed the purulent matter from the wound: or he anointed the wound; as also نَثَّ.
