مُجَلَّدٌ Covered with skin: thus applied to a pair of socks, or stockings, meaning having skin put upon the upper and lower parts. [A book, or portion of a book, bound:
2 and hence, A volume: pl. مُجَلَّدَاتٌ.]
3 A bone covered only by the skin; having nothing remaining on it but the skin.
