مَحَاطٌ A place behind the camels or other beasts and the people [to whom they belong], surrounding and protecting them: some say that أَرْضٌ مَحَاطٌ signifies land surrounded by a wall: if not so surrounded, it is termed ضَاحِيَةٌ.
