Full Definition

مُدَبَّجٌ Ornamented with دِيبَاج. You say طَيْلَسَانٌ مُدَبَّجٌ A طيلسان [q. v.] of which the ends, edges, or borders, are so ornamented.
2 أَرْضٌ مُدَبَجَةٌ Land adorned with meadows, or gardens.
3 مُدَبَّجٌ also signifies A species of the هَام [or owl].
4 And A species of aquatic bird, of ugly appearance, called أَغْيَرُ مُدَبَّجٌ, with puffedout feathers, and ugly head, found in water with the [bird called] نُحَام.
5 And, applied to a man, Having an ugly head and make and face.
