Full Definition

مِرْحَاضٌ A piece of wood with which a garment, or piece of cloth, is beaten when it is washed.
2 A vessel of the kind called إِجَّانَة, or of the kind called طَسْت, in which clothes are washed: and مِرْحَضَةٌ signifies a vessel of the kind called إِجَّانَة; because clothes are washed in it.
3 A place of washing: or a place in which one washes himself.
4 And hence, A privy: pl. مَرَاحِيضُ and مَرَاحِضُ.
