مُرْقِدٌ A medicine that causes him who drinks it to sleep (S, K. [In a copy of the A مُرَقِّدٌ ; and thus pronounced in the present day.])
2 Also A conspicuous road: thus on the authority of As; but ISd says, “ I know not how it is: ” and others say that it is مُرَقِّدٌ .
