Full Definition

مَسُوسٌ and مُسَوَّسٌ , or , [which is app. the more correct,] and سَاسٌ , Wheat, or other food, attacked by [the grub called] سُوس: and حِنْطَةٌ wheat so attacked. And أَرْضٌ مَسُوسَةٌ and [Land attacked by such grubs], in like manner. And شَجَرَةٌ مُسِيسٌ [or مُسِيسَةٌ A tree containing, or attacked by, such grubs]. And شَاةٌ مُسِيسٌ , or مُسِيسَةٌ, A sheep, or goat, abounding with قمل [i. e. قُمَّل: see 1, near the end of the paragraph].
