مُظْلِمٌ

Full Definition

مُظْلِمٌ [Becoming dark, &c.: see its verb, 4].
2 [Hence,] شَعَرٌ مُظْلِمٌ Hair intensely black. And نَبْتٌ مُظْلِمٌ A plant intensely green, inclining to blackness by reason of its [deep] greenness. And يَوْمٌ مُظْلِمٌ A day of much evil: or a very evil day: and a day in which one finds hardship, or difficulty. And أَمْرٌ مُظْلِمٌ An affair such that one knows not how to enter upon it; and so أَمْرٌ مِظْلَامٌ : [or,] accord. to Lh, one says يَوْمٌ مِظْلَامٌ , meaning a day such that one knows not how to enter upon it.
