مِعْصَالٌ A stick, or staff, with a crooked, or bent, head, with which one reaches, or takes hold of, [or draws towards him,] the branches of a tree. And The [kind of goff-stick called] صَوْلَجَان [q. v.]; as also مِعْصِيلٌ .
