مَعْطُوفٌ [Inclined, or bent: &c.].
2 قَوْسٌ مَعْطُوفَةٌ An Arabian bow, of which the curved extremity is much bent towards it, and which is used for [shooting at] the butts: and قَوْسٌ signifies the same.
