مُعَوَّلٌ

Full Definition

مُعَوَّلٌ One of whom aid, or succour, is asked: and one upon whom reliance, or confidence is placed. One says, مَا لَهُ فِى القَوْمِ مِنْ مُعَوَّلٍ He has not, among the people, or party, any of whom aid is [to be] asked. [See also عَوْلٌ.]
