2 Applied to palm-trees (نَخْلٌ), Having many branches, and bad fruit; thus without ة; and also with ة.
3 And ثَمَرَةٌ مُغْضِفَةٌ A fruit that has become flaccid, but not completely ripe: or nearly, but not yet, ripe: or whereof the goodness has not become apparent: or, accord. to AA, hanging upon its tree, flaccid.
